Dueling Sabre workshop with Maestro Martinez on the CFS 10th Anniversary
2007-12-03
The CFS celebrated its tenth anniversary this weekend. As part of the celebration, the CFS enjoyed a two day intensive workshop wtih Maestro Martinez in the Italian Dueling Sabre. The workshop was held at the CFS headquarters in St. Louis. Attendees got a solid foundation in dueling sabre from Moullineli to counter-ripostes and feints by moullinello. Those celebrating included long time CFS friends and members as well as some of our newest members from both St. Louis and Milwaukee. It was a time for learning, comradery and appreciation of what we have built for each other. We are thankful to all who have worked so hard to make the CFS the cradle of perpetual excellence we all strive for and are eager for many more years learning and preserving the Art and Science.
